Retrieve a paginated list of documents. Supports filtering by status, full-text search, and sorting.

The status filter accepts document-specific values: draft, sent, pending_approval, approved, completed, voided, expired, rejected, as well as active (all non-deleted, non-archived), archived, and deleted.
